INTERVIEW TO MR. JOBS(REPORTED SPEECH)

  • Mr Jobs first of all thanks for being here, how are you?


  • It’s a pleasure. I am fine and you?


  • Fine, fine. I’d like to begin with some biographical information. Can you tell us about yourself?


  • Yes of course, I  am an American inventor, designer and entrepreneur who was the co-founder, chief executive and chairman of Apple Computer.  I was Born in 1955  I went to two University of Wisconsin. I was smart but directionless, dropping out of college and experimenting with different projects before co-founding Apple with Steve Wozniak in 1976.  I left the company in 1985, launching Pixar Animation Studios, then I returned to Apple more than a decade later.


  • Amazing! Let’s go with the next question, when was the first Iphone launched?


  • The first iPhone was launched in 2007. It had capacitive touch screen, speaker and headset, microphone, 2 megapixel camera, headphone jack, EDGE connectivity and Wi-Fi. Although not now, in those years these characteristics were incredible


  • Of course! I had one and I remember that and it was absolutely revolutionary. How long does it take to make an iphone?


  • It takes approximately one month, because it has a lot of pieces.


  • Wow! It is incredible! When you started this business did you imagine you would have this success?
  • No, no, when you start, you never imagine getting so much success. At the beginning it was difficult for me to assimilate it, but now I have become accustomed to success.
  • Some people are complaining about the cost of the new iPhone, the iPhone X. Do you think this price is reliable?
  • Well, the price of this new innovation adjusts the characteristics of the iPhone. So, absolutely yes.
  • What will be the next Apple’s break-through?
  • Oh sorry, I can not tell to you this information because it is confidencial.
  • Ok, do not worry about it. What do you think about your rivarly with Samsung company?
  • Mmmm… I do not think about it, I only worry about my company and my clients, if they are happy, I’m happy too.
  • Will there be a new colour of the iPhone?
  • I do not think so because the colours that we have are the most elegant.
  • Finally the last question, do you think Apple will stop growing like in these last years?
  • Apple has been a huge company since 1976. I think there are few possibilities.

    The journalist asked how was he.

    The journalist requested if he thought that apple would stop growing like in the last years.
    The journalist wanted to know what he thought about his rivarly with samsung.
    He answered that he didn’t think about it.


    The journalist asked what the next Apple break-through would be, and Mr Jobs apologised by saying that he couldn’t tell that information because it was confidentcial.
    The journalist asked if he had ever imagined that he would have this success, Mr Jobs admitted that he could never have imagined that he would have so much success.
